I love many aspects of this time period: the medical and scientific advances, architecture, social graces, and the clothing.
Especially the clothing.
With the strict social and moral rules of the Victorian Age, the slightest infraction of them, when made by a man and woman truly in love, makes even the simplest overture or gesture, all that more dramatic and romantic.”
